Investment to progress Vancouver-based A.I.S. Resources Lim-ited has announced Phase 2 exploration program will begin with an ag-gressive 1,000 soil sample program, following up on the high-grade anti-mony results at the company’s Fosterville-Toolleen gold property in East-ern Australia.

Martyn Element, the chairman of AIS Resources, was quoted in a state-ment as saying that, given “that antimony was the leading pathfinder ele-ment that led to the discovery of the Kirkland Lake Fosterville Gold Mine, one of the world’s lowest cost high-grade gold producers, AIS is very en-couraged by the exceptional antimony grade at its Fosterville-Toolleen gold property.”

The miner says the Fosterville Mine is a high-grade, low cost underground gold mine that commenced operation in 2005, and has current mineral reserves of 2.7 million oz at an average grade of 31.0 g/t.
