Canada’s White Metal Resources has announced it recently optioned its interest in the Okohongo copper-silver property in north-western Namibia to Himba Metals through a letter of intent (LOI).

Pursuant to the letter, Himba or its assigns has the option to acquire the firm’s 95 percent interest in Aloe Two Hundred and Thirty-Eight (pty) Ltd., a Namibia-based company which holds the exploration li-cense associated with the Okohongo property, White Metal Re-sources said in a statement.

“The Okohongo Project shows excellent potential to expand the cop-per-silver resources along strike toward the north and south, where multiple copper-silver surface occurrences are known. Future explo-ration will follow up on these target areas,” according to White Metal Resources. “Situated within the Kaoko Belt and hosted by metasedi-mentary strata, the Cu-Ag deposit is considered analogous with the stratiform sediment-hosted Central African Copperbelt deposits of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.”
