Lucapa Diamond explores major diamond at Angolan mine

Project advances Australian business Lucapa Diamond has announced that, together with its partners Endiama and Rosas & Petalas, the company has recovered a 203 carat Type IIa diamond from its operations.

 

“The diamond is the fifth largest and the 43rd +100 carat diamond to be recovered from the Lulo Alluvial operations since mining commenced,” Lucapa said in a statement.

 

“The 203 carat Type IIa diamond was recovered during the processing of run-of-mine stockpiled ore and its recovery follows those of the 162 and 116 carat diamonds on successive days in February 2024,” according to the Australian diamond business.

 

The company is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
