Epiroc buys itself in US mining company

Epiroc has acquired a part of ASI Mining, a US company providing technology solutions for autonomous mining operations, according to a press release.

Epiroc has acquired 34 per cent of ASI Mining whose products include built-in hardware and software that make vehicles autonomous as well as software platforms for controlling autonomous fleets in various mining applications. The business is estimated to have revenues in 2018 of over 55 million.

Epiroc was listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange on June 18, 2018. Epiroc makes mining and infrastructure equipment.
