Expo 2020 in Dubai runs between October 20, 2020, and April 10, 2021, and has the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". About 180 countries have already signed up for the World Exhibition, which is the first in the Middle East. In the mid-year, up to 25 million visitors are expected to come to the World Expo, of which 70 per cent are from countries other than the United Arab Emirates.
So far, 27 companies and corporate groups have announced their participation as Business Finland's partner in the World Expo in Dubai. GTK participates as so-called Exhibition Partner.
“The World Exhibition in Dubai gives us outstanding opportunities to showcase our expertise to a broad international audience. We have versatile know-how that there is demand for in the world. Now that the planning starts, we will see which themes we should emphasize when we present our expertise together with other actors, ”says Elina Ämmälä.
GTK will be visible in the pavilion's exhibition which is open to the public and in the project's information program. In addition, GTK will arrange its own group events for stakeholders in the pavilion's VIP department, on their own and/or together with their partners.
