Outotec and the Chinese University agreed on scientific cooperation

Outotec and Chinese Central South University (CSU) have signed a framework agreement on scientific cooperation.

Within the framework of the collaboration, a research laboratory will be established at CSU, Outotec's technologies will be applied to China's needs, and the technologies of both parties will be commercialized globally. In addition, Outotec and CSU participate in the organization of metallurgical training and support the development of innovative, environmentally sustainable processes.

Located in Changsha, Hunan Province, CSU is a metallurgical university under the auspices of the Chinese Ministry of Education, serving the Chinese non-ferrous metal industry and its many major metal producers.

- Our goal is to help the customers create the smartest value from natural resources and working with them to find the most sustainable solutions for handling the full value chain from ore to metals including water management, energy recovery as well as waste and side streams, explains the Outotec.
