Investment advances Vancouver-based miner Pantera Silver has initiated diamond core drilling at the company’s Nuevo Taxco silver project in the Pregones Mining District of Mexico’s Guerrero State.
Drilling is to be performed in stages of about 500 to 600 metres per stage, with each stage being assayed and analyzed before the next stage of drilling is launched, the Canadian business said in a state-ment.
Jay Roberge, the chief executive of Pantera Silver, was quoted in the statement as saying his company was “very pleased to commence drilling and to apply modern geological science to the rich history of this very prospective target area.”
“Our staged approach to drilling has been proven effective by other programs in the region and is the preferred strategy for advancing the project,” according to the CEO.
