Vancouver-based miner Sienna Resources has an-nounced it received the drill permit for the planned upcoming drill pro-gramme on the Blue Clay lithium project in Clayton Valley, in the U.S. state of Nevada. The project comprises 94 contiguous claims which total about 1,950 acres prospective for lithium, the business said in a statement.

Jason Gigliotti, the president of the Canadian business, commented that the latest development is “the final step needed to start our much anticipated maiden drill program on the Blue Clay Lithium Project right in the heart of the Clayton Valley, the preeminent address for lithium in North America. We anticipate the commencement of drilling shortly, coming at a time when lithium demand and prices are at all-time highs.”

Last November, the miner said it retained the services of Harris Ex-ploration Drilling and Associates for the planned drill programme.
