Vancouver-based Arbor Metals has begun to plan an ex-ploration programme for spring 2022 at its Miller’s Crossing lithium project in Big Smoky Valley, in the U.S. state of Nevada.

The miner’s technical team and independent third-party experts are currently reviewing historic results obtained from previous exploration in the area which have confirmed the presence of enriched lithium within claystone, Arbor Metals said in a statement.

The miner plans to “confirm whether certain lithium baring claystone trends run through the Project by using geological mapping, ground geophysics and geochemistry,” according to the statement.

“Located 18 kilometres to the east, America Lithium's TLC project lo-cated in the Big Smoky Valley basin has established a resource in claystone in the richly mineralized Esmeralda lithium district. The Mil-ler's Crossing Project has excellent potential to host lithium claystone mineralization that previously was overlooked and not tested for,” Ar-bor Metals said.
