Toronto-based Trojan Gold has announced that it commenced a ground magnetic survey at the company’s Wa-tershed property in the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt.

Trojan owns a 100% stake in the 12,049 acre Watershed property in the western region of the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, in Can-ada’s Ontario state. Shebandowan comprises several past producing metal mines that include gold (Ardeen Mine), copper (North Cold-stream Mine), and nickel (Shebandowan Mine), the company said in a statement.

“The Watershed property has all-season access and lies adjacent to the north and east-west of the Larose property held by Tashota Re-sources Inc. and is also adjacent to the Moss Lake property held by Goldshore Resources … which has approximately 4.0 million ounces” of gold, according to the Canadian miner. The property “has real likelihood to host gold mineralization as it has the potential to host the extension of the Larose property shear as shown on the lat-est airborne geophysics.”
