Canada’s Prime Mining has communicated the company is continuing its positive drill hole results from the 2021 phase 1 drill programme by carrying out a phase 2 drill programme at the Zapote South deposit. Zapote South is one of Prime Mining’s eight known gold-silver deposits at its Los Reyes gold-silver project located in Mexico’s state of Sinaloa.
“Most recently, the miner reported some 20 new drill holes from Zapote South, including 15 diamond drill and 5 reverse circulation … holes. Eleven of the holes represent final results of the Zapote South Phase 1 program and 9 holes from the ongoing Phase 2 program,” Prime Mining said in a statement.
Daniel Kunz, the CEO of Prime Mining, said that the company’s drill-ing activities continue “to be highly successful at Zapote South as we consistently encounter robust high-grade mineralization with an ex-panding footprint.”
