The world's largest gold miner Barrick Gold expects a drop in Q3 gold output, due to ongoing problems at its Tanzanian division, Acacia Mining.

Despite the decrease in its gold production, Barick Gold believes that it is on track to meet its full-year production forecast of 5.3 to 5.6 million ounces of gold.

Barrick Gold, world’s largest gold miner, was founded in 1983 by Canadian entrepreneur Peter Munk, and is headquartered in Toronto.
