Mines and Technology: Harte to launch gold project in Ontario

At the Mines and Technology event in London the Canadian company Harte Gold Corp announced of launch of new project at its Sugar Zone Property.

- It is located in Ontario, approximately 60 km east of the Hemlo area gold mines, 25 km north of White River off the Trans-Canada Highway. Harte holds a 100 percent interest in the Sugar Zone Property, told Chairman and CEO Stephen G Roman in London.

The Sugar Zone Property holds an NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Resource of 1,117 000 tonnes grading 8.41 grams/ton Au for 302,000 ounces of contained gold and an Inferred Resource of 417,000 tonnes grading 7.13 grams/ton Au for 95,000 ounces of contained gold.

Harte Gold Corp. (TSX: HRT) has a current MF Rank of 12300. Developed by hedge fund manager Joel Greenblatt, the intention of the formula is to spot high quality companies that are trading at an attractive price. The formula uses ROIC and earnings yield ratios to find quality, undervalued stocks.

In general, companies with the lowest combined rank may be the higher quality picks, say some experts.

Highlights:

  • Step-out drilling at the Sugar Zone continues to expand mineralization to the southwest at depth, returning 16.82 g/t over 1.66 meters in SZ-17-234 and confirms high grades continuing to the southwest.
  • Step-out drilling reconfirms continuity of grade and width characteristic of the deposit, including: 11.36 g/t over 2.00 meters at SZ-17-223W and 11.16 g/t over 2.05 meters at SZ-17-223W2.
  • Middle Zone drilling continues to expand the mineralized envelope and demonstrates attractive widths including a high grade core, returning  6.80 g/t over 6.18 meters including 36.90 g/t over 1.05 meters at WZ-17-92.
  • Follow up drilling at the Lynx Zone is underway.
  • Regional drilling is now testing new targets including: Marten Zone on the west side of the Dayohessarah Lake and Moose Zone on the south end of Dayohessarah Lake.
