Australian miner gets approval for $900M investment

Green light for project Australian miner Arafura Resources has obtained the regulatory approval of the regional Environment Protection Authority to implement its project to build a rare earth minerals mine in the countrys Northern Territory.

 

The companys Nolans Neodymium-Praseodymium (NdPr) project is estimated to be worth some $900 million.

 

Our sustainability team has worked diligently alongside our environmental consultants GHD to produce comprehensive, quality documentation to support the passage of the Nolans project through the Northern Territory environmental approvals process, said Gavin Lockyer, the companys managing director, as quoted in a statement
