LDC completes sale of global metals business for $466M

Deal completed Rotterdam-based Louis Dreyfus Company has announced the completion of the sale of its global metals business, LDC Metals, to NCCL Natural Resources Investment Fund, under a deal worth $466 million.

 

LDC Metals originates, consolidates, blends, tolls, transports and merchandises base and precious metals in raw and refined form, inlcluding copper, zinc and lead concentrate, and refined copper, zinc, aluminum and nickel, according to data from LDC. The business has more than 250 employees located in 15 countries around the world.

 

NCCL is managed by New China Capital Legend, acting as general partner, with AXAM Asset Management and China Molybdenum Co. Ltd serving as two limited partners.
